The St Kitts and Nevis government introduced an Electronic Entry Visa (EEV/eVisa) in 2020 to enhance its air travel regulations. Travelers have the option to apply for a multi-entry eVisa, valid for 90 days, or a single-entry eVisa, valid for 30 days, through the online immigration platform.

Requirements for citizens of countries that require visas

Foreign visitors who are not eligible for the St Kitts and Nevis Electronic Entry Visa must apply for a single-entry or multiple-entry visa through their nearest St Kitts and Nevis Embassy or Consulate. The St Kitts immigration requirements vary depending on the applicant but typically include:

  • Completing a St Kitts and Nevis immigration form
  • Providing details on the purpose of travel
  • Valid travel document
  • Financial documentation
  • Paying visa fees

Travellers should familiarize themselves with all the requirements and regulations ahead arrival, as these are strictly enforced by St Kitts and Nevis immigration officials and local police.

Living in St Kitts and Nevis

St Kitts and Nevis is a twin-island nation in the Eastern Caribbean. Most foreigners move to St Kitts, the bigger of the two islands and the country’s economic center. Nevis is more peaceful, well-preserved, and has a small population.

The country’s economy is dependent on tourism, agriculture, and the citizenship by investment program. Using the Eastern Caribbean Dollar as official currency, the economy is stable. St Kitts is one of the Caribbean’s safest islands, ranking highly for its low crime and high safety level.
