2026 Global Citizenship Programs Report: Grenada

Introduction

Grenada, known as the “Spice Isle” of the Caribbean, is a tri-island state comprising Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. The country launched its CBI programme in 2013 and occupies a uniquely strategic position in the investment migration market: it is the only CBI country that has a Treaty of Commerce and Navigation with the United States, granting Grenadian citizens eligibility for the US E-2 Investor Visa. This makes Grenada’s programme the preferred route for investors who wish to live and work in the United States. The island’s economy is anchored in tourism, agriculture (particularly nutmeg and cocoa), and growing offshore financial services. Grenada’s programme consistently ranks among the most credible in the industry, with a reputation score of 8.4 out of 10.
